Why is music education so important?
There aren’t many resources that help in navigating the emotional and mental frustrations of prolonged attention. Music helps to develop that concentration, while preserving one’s body, mind, and spirit.

Advice to young musicians?
Listen to music with each other! The most valuable things you discover in music are often discovered through someone sharing their experiences/ideas with you.
