Taking piano lessons from Reverend Walker and voice lessons from Mikyoung Park – and participating in recitals

Favorite Walker West memory/experience?
Listening to Reverend Walker play gospel music in the parlor

Musical influences?
I am not a professional musician, but I enjoy listening to Fred Hammond, Richard Smallwood, Karen Clark Sheard, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross and Michael Jackson.

Why is music education so important?
Because God calls us to praise Him with instruments and our voices!

Advice to young musicians?
Share your gifts with others. As long as you have the opportunity, keep taking lessons and PRACTICING.
