Community Support

Community-Supported Music Education in St. Paul

The joyful sounds and spirit of music enrichment that originate on Selby Avenue in St. Paul are fueled by a broad community of supporters. We take pride in being a lean, agile nonprofit organization that generates substantial earned income through our own programs.

Our key income sources at Walker West Music Academy also include generous foundation and corporate grants and private donations. Many wonderful people who value our mission volunteer their time to support our events and ongoing operational needs.

Your Support Can Keep the Music and the Dreams Alive

“Everyone should have access to music. The Academy is a pillar of Selby Avenue and the Summit-University community. We’re here to provide a space where people can gather, explore and grow through music. It’s a special place. You can feel it when you walk through the door.”
– Executive Director Peter Leggett

Many of our community supporters are represented below. But anyone can make a difference! A modest donation – or your choice to learn music with us – can support an individual student’s success and dreams or help pave the way toward an even brighter future for an amazing music school that makes a real difference in your community.
